U2 certainly rocked the house at Gilette Stadium last night. Attendees included TomKat (Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes, for all of those who don't read US Weekly) who were sitting front row cuddling and enjoying "It's a Beautiful Day" and "With or Without You". Besides the starlets, everyone was drunkenly dancing (too much wine), and swaying U2's gentle beats and soothing sounds. Afterwards, everyone headed to the cliche after parties at Newbury apartments, Theater District Penthouses, or Cambridge cribs to crash after the wild night. Cheers!

Best of the Best, Worst of the Worst of the Week
Estate: Worst Bouncers…ever. Again. No wonder it was empty last Friday.Yes they’re hot, but win the asshole award for sure.
Venu: Best Night. HedKandi KILLED Venue, crowd was hyped, music was amazing, and everyone was wasted. Great night.
Rumor: Super solid night. There’s just no competition for Rumor Thursdays.
Foundation: Oldest Crowd. If you actually are 21, go to Foundation.
Gypsy: Best Back Up Plan Club. If you don't get into Rumor, Estate, or Venu...chances are you'll end up here.
Foundation: Best actual 21+ club. Enough said...

"Pictures Speak 1,000 Words..." : Three Days Grace Performs at PC & Richard Son Theater
{Photograph courtesy of Kirill}
Sometimes, you just need to go to a crazy concert, let off some steam, and dance. Three Days Grace certainly let off some steam at the PC and Richard Son Theater in New York last night. While diving numerous times into the sweaty hands of fanatical fans and protective parents, we surely had a great time pretending like we were 15 again. Nevertheless, we got in somegreat dancing while enjoying the undeniable energy of the venue and bumping bass beats. We even snuck in a beer, which under any normal circumstances, we would never do. Martinis didn't seem to fit the occasion...cheers!
RIP Rooftop Soires

{Photographs courtesy of Kirill}
The Cooper Square Hotel hosted a summer wrap up soiree last night, showcasing One Five's spring collection by Francesca Bean. Guests dabbled in delicious daiquiris, melt-in-the-mouth martinis (must have), beautiful blue bottles, and tangy tequila treats while enjoying the exquisite New York City skyline. The guest list was kept to a tight 200, with a line wrapping around the next block. DJ Reach rocked the crowd with house mashups and cool jazzy tunes. So long to summer, but more importantly, goodbye to our total fav, rooftop soirees.

Bashion (Boston Fashion) Week Predictions…Total Yawn.
Ugly models, public shows, and cheesy photographs are still in store for this year’s Bashion extravaganza. Hopefully this season Bashion will be much more exciting?! Lets hope. Noted “Celebrities” are scheduled to grace us with their appearance including, Miss Massachusetts 2009, Alison Cronin. Again, total yawn. Next? By the looks of Bashions website, looks like they’ve divulged into the depths of too many events and a serious lack of synergy or continuity between they. Not to even MENTION there are no actual runway shows worth going to. Stay tuned for coverage, hopefully they’ll prove us wrong.

"One More Time We're Going To Celebrate..." : Electric Zoo

{Photos Via Kirill}
With summer coming to a close and classes heating up, we took a trip down to the outskirts of the big apple to celebrate the memories of summer, the highly anticipated fall semester, and great music. Randall's Island certainly was electrified as DJs Benny Benassi, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, and David Guetta, sizzled the stage and daringly dove into the thousands of fanatical fans. If you didn't get to go, you really missed out...but there's always next year!

"Pictures Speak 1,000 Words..." Kanye Performance at "Shock The World Tour"
{Photograph courtesy of Kirill}
Kanye certainly rocked the house last night at G-Shock's "Shock the World Tour" at Ciprani's in Manhattan. After performing Touch the Sky and Golddigger, Kanye mingled amongst the crowd at this intimate performance while chatting with fans and sipping Patron cocktail treats.
Sooo delicious :) !

"That Party Looked WAY Better In Pictures..." : Colonnade Hotel Pool Party Miserably Fails

Looks like Boston nightlife guru's are trying to recreate a wanna-be Gansevoort Pool Party extravaganza, but miserably failed. Literally. Yes, the photographs depict inviting crystal clear, soothing turquoise liquid, vivacious black bikinis, and overly priced fedeoras. The pictures were actually SO delicious that we actually went the next weekend to their Labor Day Poolside Party, only to find the pool filled with chilly liquid, overplayed house music, mediocre views of the city, and a menagerie of 30 people sipping on colorful cocktails at the cheesy cash bar. Not eve to mention there was $20 cover. Guests included nightlife moguls Syrus (doorman everyone knows at Rumor), owner of Cafeteria, Cameron Grob, and Mete/Kevin, who are apparently opening a new club in the fall...which still hasn't happened.

"Pictures Speak 1,000 Words..." Sean Paul & Estelle Perform at PC Richard & Son
{Photograph courtesy of Kirill}
Sean Paul & Estelle certainly brought the heat at PC Richard and Son last night with fans continuously grinding to S.Paul's upbeat reggae tracks and Estelle's head-bobbing, throw-your-hands in the air tracks. Sparks between the dynamic duo?
They're definitely on our radar...

Obama Shoots Some Hoops at Marthas
{Photograph courtesy of White House Photo Steam}President Obama takes a breather from politics and the paparazzi (but not really) to shoot some hoops during his vacay at Martha's Vineyard...for a President, he surely loves his Broadway New York City date nights and romantic Parisian strolls with Michelle. Luckily, this vacation didn't require three private jets, personal motorcade, and expensive, extensive security. At least we have a President that engages in actual sports, rather than the mundane secret service jogs around the nations capital. Total yawn. So all in all, he's a total romantic, super athlete, and a great politician. Now that's what we call a great catch!
Notice he's wearing actual workout clothes (because there's nothing worse than adults who dress to definitely not impress. AND Looks like he got some great excersize, and look at that booty!

Ms. Beckham Is At It Again...
Looks like Victoria is at it again. While gracing the glossy pages of the Elle’s October issue (available to public on September 14th), Victoria speaks about her her body image and possible acting (what?!). “I do have my insecurities. Maybe that’s why I look a little bit serious. The kind of person who’s going to stand on the red carpet and have the big grin — I’m not like that. I want to get in there, do what I’ve got to do, and get home to my kids.”While answering the swirling rumors about her acting aspirations “I know my boundaries — I know what I am good at and what I’m not good at.” Looks like former Spice Girl has somewhat of a brain, but her outfits will out do her intelligence any day. I think we can all agree we’re way over Victoria. Next…

Just Announced, David Berrie Coming Back To Boston
{Photograph via KRILL}Having spun at Mantra last spring, and making his way through the New York circuit with gigs at 1Oak, Ten June, and Pink Elephant, it looks like David Berrie's coming back to his Boston roots with spinning at Estate in October.

“The Best Guests Come Bearing Gifts…” Louis Vuitton USB Cord

{Photographs courtesy of Louis Vuitton}
4 GBS for $450.
When fashion married technology, out comes the Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite USB Key. This USB Key inspired by Vuitton's iconic Damier Graphite signature is a USB storage device and key ring in one. It features a snap hook that enables it to be attached to either inside or outside a bag, or bag charm. Hands down, total luxury at its best.

"OMG...What Was She Wearing?"

So we’re seen celebrations in New York City, articles in US Weekly, and limited edition magazines, but Jean-Charles de Castelbajac certainly took commemoration to a new level with this MJ-inspired cocktail dress accented with flirty pink satin and hand stitched black feathers. Looks like now designers are using death as inspiration for their newest collections. How comforting...

"Pictures Speak 1,000 Words..." Jay Z at All Points West
All Points West was certainly rockin' with performances by Jay Z, Coldplay, and Tool, and a bunch of other have-heard-of-them-kind-of bands. Overall, Jay Z pumped the crowd,while Coldplay soothed the crowd, and Tool chilled the crowd. Definitely not as crazy as Electric Zoo, but was definitely worth the hangover the next morning.
